Ever since the University of Oregon fielded its first varsity football squad on March 24, 1894—defeating Albany College 44–3 in the era of the early “Webfoots”—autumn Saturdays in Eugene have evolved into one of college football’s most recognizable visual spectacles. The Oregon Ducks 132nd Anniversary Sleigh Ornament condenses that 1894–2026 heritage into a three-dimensional holiday sleigh diorama cast in solid resin and polymer.
The Duck at the Reins, Autzen Stadium’s Light Towers, and Feathered Wing Relief
At the center of the snow-rimmed sleigh sits a fully sculpted figure of The Duck—the beloved mascot born from Oregon’s historic 1940s agreement with Walt Disney—dressed in a forest-green OREGON beanie, a green-and-yellow striped winter scarf, and a team jersey stamped with the yellow O. Gripping golden sleigh reins in his right hand while raising a white-gloved #1 index finger with his left, the mascot is surrounded by the architectural and on-field landmarks of Eugene football.
Tucked into the rear cargo bed behind frosted pine trees and red holly berries is a miniature replica of AUTZEN STADIUM—Oregon’s home turf since 1967—complete with four white floodlight towers, tiered seating, and the green-and-yellow O scoreboard banner rising above two wrapped gift boxes marked with the team logo and a yellow webbed duck footprint. Up at the bow, a glossy green Oregon helmet with a gold facemask rests beside a brown leather-toned football and twin golden bells tied with a striped ribbon. Along the side of the sleigh, Oregon’s signature feathered wing graphics frame raised gold lettering reading 132 YEARS OF OREGON FOOTBALL and 1894 – 2026 above a lower runner banner inscribed OREGON DUCKS / GO DUCKS!.

From Evergreen Branches to Freestanding Mantel & Desk Display
Unlike round ornaments that require a hook to stay upright, this piece is engineered with twin scrolled golden sleigh runners that form a level, stable footprint. A gold-toned metal clasp ring at the peak of the mascot’s cap comes pre-fitted with a braided green-and-yellow cord for hanging among Christmas tree lights during December. Once the tree comes down, the flat runners allow alumni and fans to set the sleigh directly on a wooden fireplace mantel, office bookshelf, or tailgating bar as a year-round Oregon football centerpiece.
