Every December since 1964, families have gathered around the television to watch Rankin/Bass’s stop-motion Animagic puppets—originally built by Ichiro Komuro and scored by Johnny Marks—bring Robert L. May’s story to life. The Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer Christmas Figurine Ornament captures that multi-generational holiday tradition in a three-dimensional sculpted North Pole diorama rather than a flat printed disc.
All Four 1964 North Pole Companions on One Snow-Dusted Platform
Positioned at the center of the snow-blanketed stage, young Rudolph stands with his glossy crimson nose, warm fawn coat, and miniature antlers flanked by his two closest misfits. On the left, aspiring dentist Hermey the Elf rests a reassuring hand on Rudolph’s shoulder in his cobalt-blue elf tunic, white collar trim, pink tights, and pointed black shoes. On the right, peppermint prospector Yukon Cornelius wears his rust-red beard, knit beanie with yellow earflaps, and belted navy parka while balancing a silver-and-black pickaxe over his left shoulder. Towering behind the trio with a wide, friendly grin and open blue hands is the reformed Bumble (the Abominable Snowmonster).

Log Cabin Warmth, Misfit Toys & Johnny Marks’ Lyric Plaque
Around the four central figures, the diorama base rewards close inspection under warm Christmas tree lights. To the left of Hermey stands a brown timber cabin with a thick snowdrift roof strung with red, green, yellow, and blue holiday bulbs, accompanied by a miniature purple-and-red wheeled train cart carrying a smiling box figure. Across the right side of the platform, three miniature teddy bear companions and wrapped gift boxes sit in front of five snow-frosted evergreen pine trees. Along the front curve of the carved stone-look scrollwork base, a raised gold-bordered plaque flanked by holly leaves and blue snowflakes reads RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER above a lower banner inscribed with Johnny Marks’ famous line: The Most Famous Reindeer of All.
Dual-Purpose Display: Braided Gold Tree Cord & Flat Mantel Base
Because the ornament is cast from solid, shatter-resistant 3D figurine material with a fade-resistant multi-color painted finish, it avoids the fragility of thin blown glass in households with curious children or pets. A gold-toned metal eyelet ring anchored at the top of Bumble’s head comes pre-threaded with a braided metallic gold cord for hanging on sturdy evergreen boughs.

Unlike round baubles that roll when unhooked from the tree, the oval scrollwork pedestal has a flat bottom surface—allowing collectors to set the diorama upright on a wooden fireplace mantel, bookshelf, or holiday centerpiece table throughout December.
