When a wise-cracking extraterrestrial named Gordon Shumway fled the nuclear destruction of his home planet Melmac in 1986 and crash-landed his spacecraft through the San Fernando Valley garage roof of Willie, Kate, Lynn, and Brian Tanner, network television gained one of its most irreverent 1980s sitcom icons. Created by Paul Fusco for NBC, ALF turned suburban family life—and the daily survival of household tabby cat Lucky—into four seasons of prime-time comedy. The ALF Advent Calendar 2026 channels that late-eighties living-room nostalgia into a 24-morning December unboxing ritual, pairing a starry midnight-blue collector box with 24 freestanding three-dimensional sculptures built for desks, media consoles, and retro TV shelves.

Inside the 24 Compartments: Gordon Shumway Poses, Lucky the Cat & Tanner Family Props
Framed by a glowing suburban home in the snow, a decorated pine tree, and Lucky peeking cautiously over a stack of ribbon-tied presents, the front of the rigid paperboard box places Gordon Shumway in a red-and-white Santa hat flashing a signature thumbs-up beneath bold red-and-gold ALF lettering. Popping open each numbered compartment reveals a solid 3D miniature seated on a textured gray cobblestone pedestal. Nineteen character sculptures capture ALF across holiday misadventures and domestic lounging: dressed in a classic Santa suit, tangled in multicolored Christmas string lights, sporting a green ugly sweater printed with a white alien head, sipping from a white ALF mug in a knit holiday jumper, and wearing a pleated chef toque and COOKIES apron while holding a warm baking sheet.
Additional character sculpts depict Gordon Shumway in reindeer antlers and a red nose, popping out of a red-and-green gift box, holding a tree-trimmed red stocking, cradling a snowball in a blue bathrobe and nightcap, relaxing in a green armchair with a bowl of popcorn, strumming a red-and-white electric guitar in dark sunglasses and a black leather jacket, holding a holly ornament in a festive red shirt, carrying a tall stack of wrapped gifts, holding a green ribbon-tied present, hugging a wide-eyed Lucky the Cat, reading the MELMAC NEWS newspaper, balancing a plate of chocolate chip cookies beside a glass labeled MILK, and riding inside a red-and-gold sleigh. Five companion miniatures complete the 24-day set: the snow-roofed Tanner family house, a gift-ringed Christmas tree, a vintage wood-grain CRT television displaying a black-and-white ALF broadcast on screen, a clear ALF snow globe on a red snowflake base, and a snow-dusted white suburban mailbox stamped TANNER.

Cobblestone Pedestal Stability & Full-Wrap Collector Packaging
Rather than relying on flat acrylic cutouts or hanging strings, every figurine and household prop in the lineup is permanently anchored to a flat-bottomed cobblestone base. That weighted footprint keeps each miniature upright on wooden bookshelves, desktop monitor risers, or fireplace mantels right out of the compartment without tipping over. Meanwhile, the custom full-wrap rigid paperboard box—detailed with a yellow line-art profile of ALF along the vertical spine—retains its crisp corners through all 24 days of December, serving as a nostalgic backdrop behind your completed Tanner living-room display long after New Year’s Day.
