California Golden Bears Grateful Dead College Hoodie

Marking both the 150th Anniversary of California and the October 17, 2026 “Tie-Dye Out Berkeley” Grateful Bears Game against Wake Forest, the California Golden Bears Grateful Dead College Hoodie translates UC Berkeley’s campus landmarks and Deadhead iconography onto a cold-weather pullover fleece. Where the solid-black edition keeps its color confined to the center graphics, this hoodie wraps the entire hood, kangaroo pocket, torso, and sleeves in a radial Berkeley navy and California gold starburst tie-dye pattern—complete with mismatched two-tone hood drawstrings (California gold on the left grommet, Berkeley navy on the right).

From The Campanile to the Gridiron: Front & Back Shield Art

The deep navy center of the radial tie-dye pattern serves as a high-contrast stage for two custom-illustrated campus crests:

1. Front Chest Crest (Sather Tower / The Campanile): Beneath groovy golden CALIFORNIA lettering, two smiling Grateful Dead bears dance surrounded by musical notes in front of UC Berkeley’s 307-foot Sather Tower clock spire. The left bear is golden yellow with a navy collar, while the right bear sports a navy Cal pullover and cap. The lower tip of the shield is anchored by the navy-and-gold Cal Steal Your Face skull emblem sitting right across the upper kangaroo pocket seam.
2. Back Shoulder Crest (California Memorial Stadium): Topped by double-stacked GRATEFUL BEARS lettering, the back shield follows the same two bears walking arm-in-arm toward the outer colonnade of California Memorial Stadium. Overhead comic speech bubbles read “GO BEARS!” and “ROLL TOGETHER!”, underscored by a second Cal skull badge.
3. Continuous Pocket & Hood Registration: The radial tie-dye sunburst continues uninterrupted across the double-lined hood and the front kangaroo hand-warmer pocket, framed by golden-yellow ribbed wrist cuffs and a matching ribbed waistband.

Stadium Layering Comfort & Gallery Package Clarity

Built from a soft, warm polyester-cotton fleece blend that blocks autumn canyon winds without stiff screen-print buildup, this pullover layers easily over a game-day tee or collared shirt.
