Since the franchise arrived in Motor City in 1934 and debuted its signature Honolulu Blue and Silver uniforms alongside the annual Thanksgiving Day game, late-autumn football and holiday gatherings have been inseparable in Michigan. The Detroit Lions Advent Calendar extends that One Pride ritual across the first 24 days of December, uniting a snow-dusted Ford Field collector box with 24 freestanding three-dimensional chibi sculptures built for office desks, bookshelves, and basement watch-party bars.

24 Honolulu Blue Sculptures: Dan Campbell, Grit-Era Stars & Trench Anchors
Behind the 24 daily compartments of the rigid paperboard exterior waits a complete miniature roster dressed in Honolulu Blue home jerseys, crisp white numbers, silver football pants, and circular black pedestals printed with white nameplates. Head coach Dan Campbell anchors the top row in his black Lions cap, sideline headset, and black pullover with his right fist raised. Immediately beside him stand the core playmakers of Detroit’s offense: quarterback Jared Goff (#16) gripping a football, wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown (#14) raising his index finger with dark eye black, running back Jahmyr Gibbs (#26), wideout Jameson Williams (#9) pointing downfield, and tight end Sam LaPorta (#87).
The remaining compartments honor the physical trenches, defensive playmakers, and special teams specialists that define Detroit football. Offensive tackle Penei Sewell (#58) is joined up front by interior linemen Christian Mahogany (#73), Juice Scruggs (#70), Tate Ratledge (#77), and Blake Miller (#52). Across the defensive line and linebacking corps, edge rusher Aidan Hutchinson (#97) flexes his right bicep with signature eye black alongside Alim McNeill (#54), Jack Campbell (#46), Derrick Barnes (#55), D.J. Wonnum (#98), and Tyleik Williams (#93). Rounding out the secondary and kicking game are defensive backs D.J. Reed (#4), Rock Ya-Sin (#23), Roger McCreary (#26), Christian Izien (#27), and Chuck Clark (#44), paired with kicker Jake Bates (#39) and punter Jack Fox (#3).

Molded in solid three-dimensional relief without hanging cords or loops, every figurine balances cleanly on its circular black pedestal the moment it is unboxed. Once the 24th door is opened on Christmas Eve, the vertical rigid paperboard box—printed with the leaping Lion crest, snowflakes, and the illuminated glass facade of downtown Detroit’s Ford Field—serves as a backdrop behind your Honolulu Blue lineup through the postseason and beyond.
