Since Sir Arthur Conan Doyle first introduced 221B Baker Street in 1887, the appeal of Sherlock Holmes has always rested on tangible details: a curved calabash pipe silhouette against London fog, a telegram slipped beneath the front door, or mud flecks examined under a brass lens. The Sherlock Holmes Mystery Advent Calendar Figures brings that Victorian literary atmosphere into a 24-day December countdown built for mystery readers and study bookshelves.
A Victorian Casebook Exterior Built for the Reading Nook
Framed in deep forest green, aged parchment gold, and crimson ribbon banners, the rigid paperboard box reads like an illustrated dossier from The Strand Magazine. Above a misty Thames skyline of Big Ben and Tower Bridge, a deerstalker-capped silhouette of Holmes shares the cover with a folded front page of The Daily Chronicle — Mystery Lives On, a brass magnifying glass resting atop four leather-bound volumes (Clues, People, Places, Adventures), and a field note inscribed A Brighter Tomorrow Through Observation. Each morning in December, a perforated door on the front panel opens to reveal a freestanding three-dimensional miniature mounted on a matte-black pedestal with a white printed nameplate.

Sixteen of the titled pedestals assemble the full social hierarchy of Conan Doyle’s canon. At the center of 221B stand Sherlock Holmes in his plaid cape and deerstalker cap, Dr. John Watson, landlady Mrs. Hudson carrying a tea tray, Mycroft Holmes, Mary Morstan, and Scotland Yard’s Inspector Lestrade. Facing them across the chessboard are Irene Adler in a crimson Victorian gown with a black fan, arch-nemesis Professor Moriarty, extortionist Charles Augustus Milverton, sniper Sebastian Moran, and the red-eyed Hound of the Baskervilles, supported by the street-level informants who keep Baker Street running: Wiggins, the Baker Street Irregulars Leader, a Newspaper Boy holding an EXTRA! broadsheet, a Victorian Policeman, and a London Cab Driver.
Forensic Artifacts & Titled Pedestal Craftsmanship
The remaining eight compartments isolate the physical objects and architectural markers that anchor the stories: the green-panelled 221B front door dressed in holiday greenery, Holmes’s Violin and bow, a standalone plaid Deerstalker Hat, a brass-toned Magnifying Glass, an open-face gold Pocket Watch on a chain, a warm-glowing London Lantern, an ornate brass Key and Lock, and a red-wax-sealed Secret Letter.

Cast in durable PVC and resin with crisp facial expressions, tweed coat textures, and metallic-painted brass highlights, the 24 titled pedestals line up neatly along the front edge of a bookcase next to your favorite mystery hardcovers throughout the year.
