Keep him out of bright light, keep him away from water, and never feed him after midnight: those three rules turn a quiet December in Kingston Falls upside down in Joe Dante’s 1984 Christmas horror-comedy written by Chris Columbus. On the front of the Gremlins Advent Calendar 2026, gentle Mogwai Gizmo sits in a red Santa hat clutching a wrapped present beside a wooden crate stamped “FRAGILE / THIS SIDE UP,” while scaly leader Stripe looms above with his white mohawk under snow-frosted crimson lettering and a holly-wreath “24 COLLECTIBLES” badge.
Nine Festive Gizmo Poses Versus Six Mischievous Gremlins
Behind the twenty-four perforated countdown doors, the collection contrasts the chestnut-and-white fur of Billy Peltzer’s Mogwai against the reptilian green chaos of Stripe’s brood. Nine individual compartments are dedicated to Gizmo in signature holiday and movie poses: wearing red-and-blue 3D glasses with a striped popcorn bucket, peeking out of a red snowflake stocking, riding in a crimson sleigh, draped in a hooded red cloak holding a lantern, tangled in glowing multi-color Christmas string lights, sitting inside a Santa gift sack, wearing a striped scarf with a candy cane, holding a wrapped gift in a Santa hat, and resting beside stacked presents. Across from him, six scaly Gremlin miniatures capture Stripe clutching a red tree ornament, a caroling Gremlin in a Santa hat holding a green songbook, and Gremlins bursting from a wrapped gift box, a holly wreath, string lights, and a candy-cane pose.

Every figure in the lineup is sculpted in full dimensional relief and mounted on a circular, snow-dusted gray cobblestone display base so each daily reveal stands upright on a desk, shelf, or mantel without needing hooks.
Signed Kingston Falls Diorama Landmarks and Winter Figures
To anchor the Mogwai and Gremlin clash in its 1984 small-town setting, the remaining nine compartments supply architectural and seasonal props stamped with town signage. Collectors unbox a snow-roofed “KINGSTON FALLS” building, a wreath-trimmed “KINGSTON FALLS” red mailbox, a circular “KINGSTON FALLS” holly wreath plaque, and a “CHRISTMAS TREES” pine lot sign, accompanied by a top-hatted Snowman sporting pink Mogwai ears, two bundled winter town figures holding a gift and hot cocoa, a decorated Christmas tree, and a stack of wrapped holiday boxes.
