What’s Christmas?

Christmas is the event marking the birth of Jesus Christ, this event is celebrated on December 25 every year. Then 5 days will be a new year with new beginnings. To honor the spirit of the festival, spend time with your family and loved ones to give each other best wishes. Christmas is both a noble religious holiday and one of the world’s cultural and commercial phenomena. For two millennia, people all over the world have done it with traditions steeped in religious nature. Christians they will celebrate Christmas as the anniversary of the birth of Jesus. Common customs on Christmas day include exchanging gifts, going to church, eating with family and friends, decorating the Christmas tree and, of course, waiting for Santa Claus to arrive. For those who enjoy during this festive season, Traditional Christmas dinner will feature turkey with stuffed meat, gravy, blueberry sauce, mashed potatoes, and salad. Some other poultry and then roast beef or possibly ham will also be used. Besides delicious pumpkin or apple pie, Christmas pudding or fruit cake is the main and most loved dessert.

   There are many delicious dishes on Christmas day, but number 1 is still baked potatoes, with a selection rate of 76%. Mashed potatoes came in second at 75% and turkey in third (73%) was the only protein in the top five.

Like Canada, in the US they are also less restrictive on travel to celebrate Christmas. Especially in NYC, people are crowded together to celebrate Christmas. There is no place like home for a vacation, you are here due to the latest COVID-19 variant that surrounds the city. With several Broadway shows closed and many other restaurants also temporarily closed , cheerleaders or costumes appear to be in short supply. But anyway, Christmas in New York is always something you should try once in your life: the drivers in the park, the music on the street, the lights on the skyscrapers and the trolleys on the street corner. will entice you with bags of roasted chestnuts that are both hot and fragrant.

On Christmas Eve and Christmas holidays, you can be in NYC. This is really a warm and peaceful place to spend Christmas.

In New York, you can easily see the Rockefeller Center tree as often as we do with the Statue of Liberty. Interesting! We would be hard-pressed to find a more iconic piece of America’s longstanding Christmas tradition than the Rockefeller tree.    Needless to say it was an exciting and challenging year for everyone. 2021 is almost over, let’s take the time to slow down and think and enjoy the simple things with your family and loved ones. There are quite a few traditions that we can partake of at Christmas: the most joyful time of the year. Participate in as many rituals as you can, or decorate trees and houses or make fruit cakes.
